I have tested my 1997 Seadoo GSI fuel pickup and the gauge sender appears to be bad. My question is how to remove and replace it. I have taken everything loose from the fuel tank and moved it as far forward as I can get it and the sender will not come all the way out as the top of it is blocked by the body portion of the unit just rear of the steering assembly. Any help would be most appreciated.

Got it out by removing the steering assembly and pulling it out through there. It had been out before I see, the little magnet "slider" was gone as well as the end cap on the bottom that holds it in.
