Which octane fuel is acceptable in 2006 RXT, I know high test is always preferable but it is not available on the water where my skis are. My choice is to fuel up with 89 octane or lug gas cans onto the dock, maybe I should add some octane boost to the 87??? Opinions appreciated.

For a 2006 RXT you want to put premium unleaded gasoline with a minimum of 91 octane. I personally would not put 87 octane in and add octane booster because of the potential for engine damage. I think I would bite the bullet and fill cans up and haul them to your ski. Your total tank capacity is 15.9 gal so that would be a lot of hauling. :-/
