All, need to replace the fuel line on a 95 XP while installing a rebuilt block. Replaced the gray line a couple of years ago with fuel rated black line. It is hard as a rock now. Just need know what size of line and estimate on how many feet to purchase. Would look at it but it is 200 miles away.

Thanks

Standard automotive fuel line 1/4". I prefer the Gates brand and a 25' roll will be plenty.

Looks like tygon is the one to get but it ain't cheap. I'm going to measure what I need cuz I'm not buying twice as much as I need. LOL

No Tygon is not the one to get. If the fuel there has made black automotive lines stiff then the Tygon will be stiff in 2 seasons or less.

Tygon is for the lines from oil pump to the carbs.
For the fuel lines use black auto lines, like Mikdymac suggest. Use full stainless steel hose clamps.

Replace one at a time so not to get them mixed up. Clean the carb filters, replace the oil filter with OEM , add a Fram G2 fuel filter and clean the on/off/reserve knob assembly too.

I like it all but the non original filter. Just another possible point of failure in my opinion. New filter elements for the screw on filter/water collector are cheap and the originals was up with soap and water without tearing half the time. The screen is so fine you couldn't get a hair through it but you can still run a garden hose through them full blast. Plus it's plastic and it's the paper in some of those in-line filters that will restrict flow eventually, especially on a pre-mix ski.

That would probably be fine but my Autozone has standard fuel hose for less than that.
Just standard auto fuel hose. Don't get too bogged down with it.
