Fuel injectors

I removed my fuel injectors from my 2004 GTI LE RFI and my questions is, are they different? They are the same part numbers but only 1 of them seems to be letting cleaner thru when they are given power....if I look down the injector from the fuel rail side, 1 looks like it has a hole going into the injector and the other injector looks like a dead end and does not let cleaner thru when power is applied...what am I looking at?

I send mine off for cleaning. I don't even look at them other than to look for damage or severe corrosion. I use thefuelinjectorman.com There are others. There is a really good guy in New York too but I'd bet every state has someone. Good Luck.

One of the powers port mechanics in town had an injector tester/cleaner machine....10 bucks to do mine...he said that he would put them back in and look elsewhere for the issue

Does anyone know where I can get new filter baskets for the 787 RFI Bosch fuel injector?
