fuel gauage and speedometer not working.

Just bought a 2004 Seadoo GTX with a supercharger. Took it out on the lake for the first time on Monday. It ran great but the speedometer and fuel gauge quit working from time to time. The fuel gauge just disappears and the speedometer quits. I am new to jet skis but I do work on cars and pickups for a living so i have some mechanical knowledge. Just wondering if anyone had any advice on what to check. Thanks in advance

Another guy just sent his here. $250 to rebuild it like new. Might wait and see how his goes.

So you think it is probably in the gauge cluster? Didnt know if there was anything else anyone has ran into.

Probably. I was told they always go out by the dealer. I'm new as well though.
