Front hood 96 gtx

does any body know were to get a 96 gtx sea doo front storage hood mine broke this last summer ?

$100 shipped, you wont find it cheaper than that. It has some scratches and dings. Perfect ones with a hood deflector are going to run about $300 shipped. I have sold just the hood deflector in good shape for $100

Shipping should not be that much. I have one but it has the famous dent where the hood over opens. That is probably what happened to yours. If Minnetonka4me has one it will be a good one.

The shipping charge is going to be high just from the size of the box, once it is past a certain size than balloon fees kick in. I bought a 2000 xp hood last year and the cheapest I could get it shipped was on a greyhound bus and it was $110. Fedex ups and usps were all over $200. The xp hood is heavier but that gtx hood is pretty large.

I shipped out a hood complete with gauges and mirrors for only around $35 just a couple weeks ago. We used USPS standard/ground.

I assume gsx or x4 hood? Alot smaller and lighter. X4 hoods are $30 all day. Big hoods and seats suck to ship.

JSG is right...these GTX hoods are anywhere from 70-100 depending on how close to civilization you are. That Ebay guy will likely be asking for more money after the auction. If he doesnt hes working for free. The other part that sucks is you have to find the perfect box or make one....that takes time, then actually packing it so it wont get beat up...lots of time and bubble wrap.

I do have a couple...both in about the same condition as that one on ebay.
