Freeflow Exhaust

I own a Seadoo Gtx 260 is 2014 and I have been looking into a free flow exhuast mod but they do not make one for my ski and not only that but i have seen these mods cost up to 250$! So I plan on making my own by removing the water box and replacing it with a pipe. The question is, Will this damage the ski in anyway and will this void the warrenty on my ski?

What are you trying to accomplish, though? Additional power? Or you'd just like a little more sound?

Thats the problem though, it says that is for the RXPX. They have the waterbox on a diffrent side of the ski and its a bent pipe. My pipe would be mostly straight. Can you tell me if free flow exhuast would damage the motor?
