Fouled plug on 2005 GTX, I'm a Newbie

I just purchased two of these, one ran great the other not so well, A recommendation from a mechanic was to change out the plugs and give it another go.

So I went about changing out the plugs, The center plugs threads were full of fresh looking oil and the electrode was black and wet.

this leads me to believe that there maybe a bad seal on the spark plug tube, the oil must have been in the bottom of the tube and coated the plug threads upon removal.

Does anyone know what may have caused the plug to foul out and is this a common problem.

Changed out the plugs the ski runs great, I didn't run it very long maybe 5 mins just to make sure all is O.K., I hope that solved the problem but will not know for sure until I can run it through it's paces.

I just purchased these, I know nothing about them so now starts the learning process.

Regards

Steve

We had the same issue with ours it was the middle cylinder that was fouled. What cylinder was yours?

Middle, maybe something going on did yours continue to fowl plugs, mine is running great right now, no signs of anything wrong.

No that was the only one that has ever fouled and has only done it that one time. It has been running great and have never had another problem we did change all the plugs though.
