Forum needs a Sticky: PWC 4TEC questions ONLY! Post Boat questions in Boats forum!

Seems like every other day somebody posts in this PWC forum questions about their SeaDoo BOAT problems... it's a little frustrating.

I checked out the Boat forums just now and they have an appropriate Sticky at the forum beginning directing folks NOT to post PWC questions in the Boats forum..... so why don't the PWC forums have a similar sticky at the top? Needs one!

And yet another boat poster today in this forum. What's the point of having specific forums if people don't even try to post in the correct forum for their watercraft?

I rest my case!

Probably because most people dont know what "pwc" means

Well they're all "watercraft"... I think the problem is that 4-TEC PWC's is higher up in the Forums list than 4-TEC Boats is so people browse to the 1st "4-TEC" related forum (which is THIS one btw!) and just start posting.

I browsed thru 4-TEC Boats yesterday and could not find any PWC postings whatsoever (was curious if that forum had the same kinda problem this one seems to be having). Read their sticky about NOT posting PWC issues in the Boats forum, wondered immediately why this PWC forum doesn't have a similar sticky since this seems to be a common mistake people make.

Ahhh! So I don't count then?

Maybe just get rid of the forums altogether and mash everything into 1 single forum? Yeah that's tha ticket! :driving:

I care, but not a lot since I just skip over the boat threads. But the posters of those boat threads would probably get more response to their issues if they posted in the right forum for their boat. Your suggestion may help and would probably save the messages telling the posters they are posting in the wrong forum. For their own good, it may help.
