Hey all,
I looked through the forum but was unable to find anything about this topic. I have a new 2019 Gtr230 that now has 9 hrs on it. I live in Michigan and the ski will never see salt water. After a 4 hr day I got it home and ran the ski for about 90 secs with a garden hose hooked up to the exhaust flush port, with a couple a blips if the throttle up to about 4500 rpm. My second ride took the ski up to 9hrs and I did the same thing after riding.
My question is, is it necessary to flush the exhaust if the ski is always run in fresh water or can I forgo this procedure? I don’t want to place any undo stress or wear on the carbon seal. Thanks in advance.
