I have a 2000 Sea-doo GTI. Took it out yesterday, was turning around and a wave hit and it flipped. Turned it back over and it had already taken on a lot of water. I had to have it towed back. Once I got it home, maybe an hr drive, pulled the plugs and tried to crank it to possibly get any water that may have got into the engine and it won't crank. There's a noise that sounds like it's coming from around the battery. It sounds like static. I know nothing about PWC's. What could possibly be wrong?

Sounds like you fried up some wiring and/or components trying to start it...start digging into the rear electric box and checking the wiring, components, battery, solenoid and the starter.
