Fizzle air intake

Fitted the air intake and I'm impressed question I have is I fitted to a rxp x should you remove the two air hoses and sit the air filter under the steering as now I have the two standard tubes as standard and have sat the air filter next to the tube on the drivers side been told that it will run better fitted under steering but have also been told if you remove the two original tubes the ski can sink quicker if you flip it please help

I'm glad you like the air intake! That's correct, the ski can sink quicker if you remove the OEM plastic tubes and then flip the ski. You might gain 50 RPM by putting the filter near the hull opening under the steering column. Many people remove the tube anyway. I guess it's a personal choice at the end of the day...
