Fixed one problem got another on my 96 XP

I was blowing the fuse on my MPEM so decided to check my stator. Before this I was getting power to VTS, guages and would get two beeps when plugged the DESS in. The stator, pickup and cover was full of metal shavings. I cleaned everything out now it's not blowing fuses but I only get power to my VTS and nothing else. Any idea why no power anywhere but VTS?

is there a little black wire at neg bat post, that needs to be hooked up?, if not, then did you mess with the rear ebox...undo relays?

Nothing was touched. Just unhooked the battery, took the front motor cover off and cleaned all metal shavings off stator and pickup. Put everything back together and nothing except VTS is working now.

Things are getting better. I got power to my guages just not the beeper. I found out that one reason it wouldn't turn over is because the ground wire on the start/stop button was pulled off so I fixed it and the motor now turns over. Now I'm just blowing the VTS fuse so I'm figuring its just a bad ground.
