Hi,

I just got a 2021 Fish Pro and it's my first time on a modern PWC. First of all the ride is amazingly stable compared to the WaveRunners I'm used to from ~15 years ago. My question is about the VTS system - what's the best way to tell whether it's working? I tried adjusting it from full high to full low at a variety of speeds and it was surprisingly subtle. I'm used to trim tabs on a boat being really drastic, but wasn't sure if I should expect the same from the VTS system.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Your right, Seadoo VTS is subtle, the Spark trix has a enhanced VTS for doing wheelies. Probably a design safety thing.

Jeremy, if you are ever in rough water the nose high setting will keep you much more dry. However, a real launch with it that high will literally make your ski jump out of the water.

Is there a good way to tell whether VTS is working?
You can adjust it while on the trailer and have someone visually verify it's moving.

VTS adjustments on my 2012 GTI are not that noticeable. But I rode a friends 2012 GTI yesterday and it was. Was also much more noticeable on a 2011 GTI. Not sure why there's such a difference.

Love, what machine do you have? I'm trying to decide between a GTI 130 standard or SE. The SE has the VTS which is the only thing I cant add on by myself. It will end up costing me about $800 - $1,000 more and I'm not sure its worth it. There is such mixed reviews. I want to use the ski for water skiing and wake boarding...Thanks

The reboarding ladder is verrrry useful. SE models come with it, but as you stated, you can always add it yourself.
