It was a tad grumpy at first , got out in open water , wouldnt plane up , wouldnt get over 15mph , thought it may be a fuel issue b/c i couldnt get over a 1/4 throttle without bogging , ran for awhile to see if it would clear out , never did , when i engaged choke it would try to go dead , so i knew fuel was getting to motor

So i put it on the trailer pulled the plugs they were wet w/fuel so im thinking fouled plugs was the issue , as far as starting , and running it did fine it idled rough and would load up and die but just a tiny bit of pressure on throttle it ran fine , outta the water it ran good , though it would spit and pop at full bore , again i think it goes back to plugs , if im wrong though anyone have a thought or 2 thanks

Yep... if the o-ring is leaking on the fuel bowl, you will have fuel issues.

BUT... no torque, and wet plugs... I would check the compression. It may be low.

Anytime performance begins to fail, do the Compression test. Check/change *plugs & gap correctly. It it still runs poorly, DO NOT DRIVE it.
99% of Seadoo problems are fuel system related.

Let do a little back story , the ski sat for four years before i got it going the other day , i pretty much filled the engine with marvel mystery oil to lube every thing before attempting to start , i cleaned both tanks rebuilt the carbs , new battery ,changed jet pump oil , before i fired motor i ran the oil out, and put new plugs in , i half expected it to foul the plugs anyway due to oil in the engine , but i will check the o rings and do a compression test thanks

ok changed the plugs , cleaned fuel filter , brought her back to the lake started fine , eased outta the no wake zone pretty smoothed but same problem again , 1/4 throttle would try to plane 15 mph , anything over motor bogged out , came home pulled the carbs , full of dirt and rust , i cleaned them once and now its back im just wondering from where ? i cleaned the tanks , cleaned the filters , im pretty sure this was my problem im just perplexed at where this came from

If you cleaned everything good it's prob just. Junk from in the lines did u clean the fuel selector?

No i didnt im gonna clean it when i get home , im thinking now thats where its coming from thanks ill do that , im gonna go ahead and get a carb kit and get that outta the way too instead of just cleaning this time too for the extra assurance
