Took my 95 XP out yesterday for the first time since I put the new pistons in. It ran great and I was happy with the way it preformed. Is there anything I should look at now that I've ran a whole tank of gas through it? I've also heard I should add a little oil to the gas for the second tank (I don't pre-mix but I did for the first tank after the rebuild) or is it ok to let the oil pump mix it for me?

You should have run extra oil the first tank. For the first 10 hours or so... you should be running rich to keep the new parts cool.

I recommend at least 1 oz of oil, per gallon of fuel in the main tank. This is with the oil injection running. After 2 or 3 tanks... you can just run straight fuel.

If you were running pre-mix... then the first few tanks... you sould run 32:1... then 40:1 after.

I did mix the first tank at 3oz per gallon and will follow up with the 1oz you suggested. Also if you ever make it down to pool 4 on the mon (california - charleroi area) let me know. Lots of skis and boats in the pool.
