So after years of living in pain, I finally had my right knee replaced back in May. Last week I went for my first ride with great success. (Pics)
I needed to test a ski that I have been working on so I went for my second post surgery ride today. I didn’t get any pics as it was so windy that the chop was white capping that I didn’t want to risk loosing my phone in the water.
I headed out into the wind after warm up but could not get more that 6600/6700rpms. Ski ran great but couldn’t figure out why lower than normal rpms, I know I put on a couple pounds during rehab, but still should’ve done better. Turned around and headed back and wouldn’t you know started getting 6850/6900rpms and it dawned on me going against the wind - problem solved. Sometimes I amaze myself at how much of an idiot I can be.
