Hi, was just watching some YouTube videos on the removal of the exhaust silencer box from a seadoo rxt 215 2006 and replacing it with a piece of pipe. And was wondering if anybody has done this or should it be just left as it is?.

I wouldn't do it too much drone and no real performance gain, easily reversed though if you don't like it. If you want more exhaust noise and a debatable performance gain use a full rear exhaust kit like the one from Riva.

I done it this weekend on my 2012 gti. its just a pipe replacement and remove the old resonator.
I liked the sound it made did 3 hours over the weekend on it and you get used to it. But as said if you don't like it then its easily reversed.

not a fan of the drone.

had a very loud exhaust on my gp1300r and the dam drone was one of the reason's I sold the dam thing.

IMO the only benefit of a noisier exhaust is right when you start it up on the trailer and people look over (or in some cases jump back). after that 2 second's, the fun ends.

Not to mention it pisses people off. And they are the ones that try to ban all PWC's from the lakes
