Exhaust resonator

I had one blow up because moss got stuck in there and someone revved it up. I bought a new one but I can’t figure out how to get the old one out. Do I have to split the hull? It’s a sea doo 2011 rxp x 255. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks!

Bypass the resonator with a tube or you can get a kit online. The resonator is for sound control only and plastic in the exhaust system is asking for trouble, again. Common for cavitation to over heat the exhaust and blow a hole in the resonator. Installing requires removing the intake side to allow access.
