Exhaust pipe leak - possible repair?

My SPX has developed a leak in the exhaust pipe. It's where the disks are welded in. Just wondering if JB Weld would be a fix for the issue?

Decent welders seem to be really hard to find around my area. For for some reason they either want to charge me a fortune, or they don't want to do a small job like this. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve heard of people using jb weld, usually it’s considered a temporary fix but I’ve heard of people getting a few years or more out of that fix. I just recently had to have 1 welded in on the head pipe, went to use my spare head pipe and it was leaking in the same spot so I had them both done. I supplied the discs, the welder did the prep work and tig welded the discs in for 50.00 cash CDN. That was for the 2 plugs

I wouldn’t necessarily rely on JB weld as a long term fix… If I were you I would keep looking for a decent welder.

I hate to admit it but my wife's GTI has ad JB weld on it for about 6 years with no issues.
