Exhaust hose blowing

I have a 98 gtx limited... I'm not on my third exhaust hose...keeps blowing out... Just replaced the pressure regulator... Blew out again after 2 hours of use... Any ideas? Clearly I'm missing something... Thanks in advance for any help..

I am having the exact same problem with my 97 GTX. I’ve change the exhaust hose between the manifold and the muffler three times already and it keeps blowing out. Obviously not enough cooling?

You need to check your cooling system as you aren’t getting enough water to cool the pipe.

You're referring the water valve on top the muffler? For it to get that hot, it's not sending water or it's blocked at the mid pipe. Since you've tried another valve and same result, check that fitting at the pipe and the 1/4" line, it might be blocked with trash in it. It's a very small calculated orifice and can easily get plugged.

Something I do....these skis need a water filter 'before' the water valve, I added one along with a shut off valve just before the water valve. Also, and it's cheap to do so, I swapped all water lines, exception the 1/2" lines with clear vinyl. I can see it flowing or not at a quick glance, solid I'm good, air bubbles we've got a problem.

Help! I can’t seem to figure this out for the life of me. I keep burning out the exhaust rubber pipe between the manifold and the muffler, Obviously it’s not getting cooling so I have checked the 1/4” hose running from the water flow regulator valve to the tune pipe for any blockages and couldn’t find any. I wasn’t sure if I had the hoses backwards for the water intake and outlet. I tried both and still burning

I’m using a aftermarket 2 inch piece of straight pipe from automotive store That worked quite well for quite a few years. Could be a faulty water flow regulator valve?
Any help to solve this would be greatly appreciated. I’m at my wits end.

How big is the opening in the brass ball valve you have? Some of them are pretty small and could be limiting flow. Have you opened the water regulator to see if it has any holes in the diaphragm?

YOUR LINES ARE REVERSED AT THE HULL!!! It's not flowing in the right direction!!! First pic shows this.
