Noticed my exhaust pipe rubber coupler was cracked and very dry from overheated engine before the rebuilt.
I just bought a “automotive” cooling rubber hose and cut to the lenght i need for a temporary use and testing.
Try at the lake and have no problem (so far)
Any opinion about this?
Can I keep it? Or should I use the original coupler?
Thanks.

I just did the same thing but have not tested it out yet. Paid $1 per foot at the automotive store for it

So far so good
I know is a high heat hose but is not very thick, i will continuing using and keep eye on it!
