When I took my GTR out of the water today and un screwed the boat plugs there was more water draining from them then normal.
Should I concern? Anything I should look at?
Thanks Greg

Depends on how you ride. If you go in a straight line all day there will barely be any water. Back it into the lake on the trailer and start it then look for any possible leaks. Carbon ring maybe?

Check all the logical things such as deck hatches and what not. Make sure they are all locked down and sealed up. Make sure the hull is pretty well dry and take it for another run. If you are still getting water, then you need to do some looking. Could be a carbon seal or a hole in one of the raw water cooling lines....

Put it on the trailer as level as possible, fill the hull up with a couple inches of water and lay under the ski and see if you can see any water leaking out of the hull.

This is true for many, but not all potentials. For example, the carbon seal will not normally leak when the hull is filled with water, but it will leak when the ski/boat is in the water and the shaft is turning...

It's a great starting point and a carbon seal may show leaks if you crank the ski with water in the hull.

Thanks guys!
What about the binge pump being clogged?
I am not over concern I would say maybe a pint of water came out. Just seemed like a lot more then normal.

Would the ring where out so quickly? My ski is a 2012 always kept out of the water in my garage with 106 hours on it and pretty much babied.

Seems like carbon seals are good until they are not kind of thing.

Your self bailers could be plugged. A pint could be nothing more than a good splash. It finds its way in through the seat seams, hatches.
