Engine swap 95 XP to 95 GTX???

I have a 95 GTX that i got form an anal retentive relative that looks like new. The engine in the GTX is locked up. I have a 95 XP that has low hours but was stored outside for close to 12 years by the previous owner. It looks like hell but runs great. The XP is just too small for me and I'd like to swap the 717 in the XP into the GTX in place of the 650. Is this a direct swap or am I opening a can of worms?

The throttle and choke cable are different and the XP cables may not reach in the larger hull. You shouldn't have to change pumps. The electronics work so no problems there either.

For the most part, it's a bolt in swap. the "Can of worms" thing, is dependent on what you consider to be hard. To me... the hardest thing will be getting the pump and engine all aligned again. (You WILL need to buy an alignment tool) You will need to swap over all the electronics, and you may need a few other odds and ends. but since you have both skis... you have the parts to make it happen.
