Hello all,
I'm new to this forum so sorry for this newbie question right up front or if I missed where my answer might be.

I have a 2002 GTX RFI which has a bad engine that I'm trying to rebuild or replace iit with a rebuilt one. My question is whether or not I need to pull the Jet pump to get the engine out. I can't seem to find a way to disengage the drive shaft from the engine so I can lift the motor out.

Should I try lift and pulling the engine toward the front to disengage the shaft from the flywheel?

Is there some special trick to doing this?

Please help,
Thanks,
Tony

Problem solved...I called the dealer and was told exactly how to disengage the drive shaft from the engine. The Jetpump defineatly needs to be removed to pull the engine.
