Engine getting spark and fuel lines have pressure but won't run !

My Sea-Doo rxt supercharged 2006 is not running. I checked for there to be pressure in the fuel lines, there was, and I also put some fresh gas in it. I checked the spark plugs and I was getting spark as well. The starter button was not engaging the starter so I jumped the started solenoid and it would turn over effortlessly but still no fire. I then put some starting fluid in cylinder 1 and jumped the solenoid and got combustion. Anybody have an ideas why it can't run? I think I've singled it down to the computer but interested to see what you guys have to say. Thanks !

How much pressure in the fuel manifold?

If it will start with starting fluid that probably rules out a timing issue, your ECU/coil/spark plugs. It would be helpful if we knew your maintenance history, like when you changed your plugs. We need to know the exact fuel pressure you have. supercharged engines have a slightly higher fuel pressure.

A compression check would be helpful as well.

I can check the fuel pressure, I imagine that I'll need to pick up a fuel pressure kit at autozone to test it. But as far as ecu, and I know absolutely nothing about ecu's, is there a mechanism that is preventing the start button to engage and could that also be the same thing preventing the fuel from getting in there or prevent spark from being initiated ? I would think that its unlikely for all 3 injectors to go bad at once so i ruled that out as well.

If the starter isn't engaging, the DESS might not be reading the code. If just one injector is bad, this can bring the symphony to a stop but in one case I know of, this also didn't have ignition, so even some starting fluid or fuel in the cylinders showed no signs of life. Another case of a bad injector, the cylinder and intake system was flooded with fuel. If you hold throttle full open, this engages flooded mode, and will not fire the injectors. It will crank with the starter though.

Does your fuel pump run for a second or two when you place the DESS key on the lanyard? Beeps, confirming the DESS code is accepted by the MPEM/ECU? Any faults reported?

Napa is a good place to build custom high pressure fuel lines, they have most of the tubing, tools and fittings and can assemble most anything you need.

My Guage cluster is non functioning because when it got flipped over and submerged it got flooded. but it gives me 2 long beeps and then a beep beep like normal when the key is plugged in. As far as flooding, I let it try to start several times for about 5-6 seconds with no throttle at all.

Since you gave it a shot of hydrocarbons and it fired off, I'd say it's not getting fuel. Go easy with the starting fluid, that stuff can pop a head gasket and/or warp the head.

Sorry the hear that! Those information centers are expensive!!! They can also be the source of false beeps when there is corrosion inside. I know; I've replaced two.

The ski has run about a season and a half with the gauge cluster not working so I don"t think its anything with that. Noted about the starting fluid, will not over do it. Those clusters are WAY too much to replace and thank you for the shop manual I will check that and see if I can single it out to be a fuel issue. Thanks for all the replies guys !

SOLVED - I know from my car experience with engines that you need spark, fuel, and air to run an engine. I was troubleshooting fuel and spark but it was AIR ! There was a hose that had come off which went to a sensor I assume that's on the back of the engine.
