Hey guys.

I've recently inherited my fathers 150 Speedster. I'm not at home right now so I can't necessarily spew out all the details of the boat.

We were using it last week and I noticed that when you start it up it runs rough at idle and usually for a bit when you accelerate. After a bit a running at high speed it settles down and runs fine.

I had forgot about the blower, which I started to use, and that sort of seemed to make a difference, but didn't eliminate it entirely. I may not have used the blower enough before starting it, or there could be something else wrong and the blower isn't really doing much of anything.

Anyone else have similar issues?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like bad fuel or water in the fuel. Do you have the gray fuel lines, if so you should replace them.

You would probably be able to get more help if you post this in the SeaDoo boat section of this forum.

Thanks Lou

I'll post in the other section...didn't realize I was posting in the wrong one.

There was fuel stabilizer in the tank over the winter so I would have thought that would have been ok, and we used most of the fuel last week and added another 1/3 of a tank. I don't know if that would be enough to clear any water issue out of the system.

I'll check the fuel lines. Are the grey ones distinctly grey? I'm not going to mistake them for black?
