I have a 2004 seadoo gtx supercharged that i was checking compression on for reference and also put in new plugs. I put in drown mode to do compression check after i finished what i was going to now wont start. fuel pump is not kicking on. I put gas in cylinders and it fired up. I have 12 volts going to fuel pump when key is applied with test light. ground was used from battery. put have no ground working going to fuel pump from ecu. it started and ran before i did what i did. how to i get it out of drowned mode if its still in it. I have tried disconnecting battery. taking plug wires off and holding start/stop button for ten plus seconds with no effect. Has this happened to any one else .

Never heard of this happening. The throttle system is mechanical/cable activated I am sure. I am not really familiar with the throttle body, but it makes me wonder if your throttle body is somehow stuck or broken and the ECU is getting a signal that you are at wide open throttle and drown mode? I would be making sure my throttle body was mechanically working and maybe seeing if any throttle position sensors are working or maybe replaced?

I had a similar issue i checked everything until I was just sitting there thinking and started playing with the throttle lever with the ski off. It fired right up after it was strange but it is worth a try .
