Dropped Rave Valve

The manual is out of date and even seadoo revised it.
515/518 is not gasoline proof and 2-stroke cases are full of gasoline. Seadoo was the only one to use it for a time and even they switched to a silicone based sealant just like every other manufacturer. And 35 years of working on these doesn't hurt.
Did not know that. With this being .50 over now, should I keep the carb settings stock or open them a little bit? Thanks for your time.

Ok, I am itching to fire this thing up. But it would be 4 months before we could get it on the lake to do the break in. Is there any harm
in starting it for a minute and then storing it for 4 months or just wait until Spring when we can break it in?

I’d start it and work out any problems that might come up before spring.
Make sure you do it outside or least the door wide open.

I finished mine in late November when I lived in Delaware. I fired it up and ran it on the hose for about two minutes looking for anything obvious didn’t see anything so I winterized it moved to Florida and started the break in about 8 months later with no issues.

Definitely doing it outside, I oiled the bearings really good before putting it together. The neighbors are going to think my building is burning
down when I fire it up.;)
