Recently I was in the process of changing my carbon ring on my 2010 Seadoo Speedster 150 (155 hp). When I was pulling out the drive shaft the ball bearing oil seal fell out. Now it is under the engine and I can't find it. Like an idiot I took off the oetiker clamp as well. The other end is still clamped and hooked up to the bottom of the engine. (The picture is off the web but I just added some commentary.)

1. If I find the ball bearing under the motor, can I reinstall it with a thinner worm clamp? I would replace the o rings inside of course.
2. Or do I have to buy an entire BALL BEARING WITH BELLOWS (INCLUDES 42 TO 44) for $139.99?
3. ....Or can I just buy the ball bearing somewhere and stop looking for the one under my engine and use a worm clamp?

Thanks for any advice in advance. I appreciate it.

You can buy a tool with a magnetic tip from AutoZone for around $5. Slip it under the engine, and pull out the bearing.
