So anyone have any thoughts as to why the drain plugs on a 1995 Sportster are so high? There's quite a bit of water left in the bottom of the boat after draining it...???

I have a 97 challenger and I think the same thing. Why the drain plugs so high. And most of all why the bilge where it's at. Wonder if you could add a second at the very back end to get that extra water.

Pump

You should first assess why your getting water in your hull. My friends and I get a little wild between the jet skis and the boat so I understand getting water from a 5 ft wave, but other than that, it shouldn't happen. Second, I do have a bilge in the very back of my speedster. If you add a second bilge to yours, you have to make sure its water tight or..............water in the hull.

Y connector

Possibly, you also have to get power to that bilge pump. I'm not to sure if you can connect it to the switch you already have or if you will have to run a seperate switch.
