The 96 GSX I bought for my wife has quicksilver pwc oil from the silver jug. Which is a syn. Blend oil. Just serviced the raves. I want to know when this oil runs low can I switch to quicksilver full synthetic pwc oil with out any problems..... From what I have found on line i should be able to go from syn. Blend to full synthetic with out any trouble.... Your thoughts.... Thank you, Rob.

Yes the can be mixed. Oils from same name brands usually have same detergent packages so mixing would not be a problem. No reactions or jelling. Call quicksilver and see what they tell you. If you do post what they said.

What I've done in the past is try to just use "most" of the oil in the tank (or gas if premix) then add the new oil and in a perfect world do that on a day when you plan on riding it quite a bit. I felt comfortable doing that and never experienced any complications. (FWIW, i've done that even when switching brands, although I don't feel comfortable recommending that to another user, but I have no issues making that decision on my own with my own ski)
