Ok, i own a 2000 Seadoo GS 718.2cc 2 stroke. i pulled off the oil injection pump a few years back and it has run perfect on premix. the seadoo sat for 2 years without being ran. i have replaced the inline fuel filter and the one in the tank. the carb has just been rebuilt with all new gas including through all the lines....alright the seadoo starts up and idles great. it also runs perfect out of the water with the hose hooked up to it...zero problems but as soon as drop it in the lake it starts up fine and will hit full throttle (max RPM's) for a few seconds then boggs out and i have to let off the throttle to keep it from dying but will idle just fine after. it progressively get worse and worse the more you try to give it gas. if you let it idle for like a whole minuite it'll hit max rpms again but will continue the process of not wanting to run. any idea??? the carb seems to be working just fine its producing enough gas its just odd it only acts like this in the water...please help!!!!!!!
thank you Motoxer310!
P.S. i did just replace the wear ring and put new grease in the impeller cover and was put back together correctly. there are no cracks anywhere on the PWC with nothing leaking anywhere so i have no idea.

Check the compression. It ideally should be at 150 psi per cylinder. If compression is low it won't have the thrust under load in the water to accelerate.
