Do I need (2) df62 fuel pumps on a Novi maxiflows 46mm ported VE970? 96xp

Hey guys getting my VE970 carbon fiber 96xp going.

Will I need (2) DF62 pumps from Mikuni or is (1) plenty? Dual Outlet, 65 Liters/Hour
Stock XP fuel tank with 3/8'' out and return lines.

May race it this summer some if Jetfest is happening in June here in Region 8. Or it will be my 72mph top speed x4 4tec killer.

One should still flow more fuel than your engine can burn.

I'm going to run twin pumps with 2 pulse lines

That's fine. Just make sure you have the proper bypass set so you don't hurt anything. You may want to contact Mikuni and ask what the bypass ratio needs to be for 2 pumps, at your pop-off pressure.

Just an FYI... 65 L/hr is enough fuel to support about 250 HP. So... do you really think that you need enough fuel for 500 hp in your ski??
