I rebuild the carbs, changed the fuel lines, changed the oil filter, cleaned the fuel and oil tank, cleaned the fuel water separator filter, cleaned the fuel selector, and put it all back together. Filled the oil tank and the fuel tank.
When i cranked the engine i did not see oil being sucked into the carbs at all, even though the engine was not starting because i forgot to turn the fuel selector to on.
When i was installing the oil pump cable it got pinched between the round lever and some small protrusion and i had to wiggled it and in the process i turned that round lever a few times in both directions. Did i screwed up the oil pump? It was running fine before.
Is this normal? Not to see the oil being sucked up to the carbs if it doesn't start?
Is oil supposed to be sucked into the carbs even if the fuel selector is off and the engine is not starting and just being cranked?
Please help! Thanks...
