Just purchased a new to me 2019 trixx. Took it out for a test ride for about 30 minutes and everything checked out. Went out this morning and noticed that the displays on saying “reading key”. Even though the key is not in. Now the check engine light is on. Anybody ever experienced this?

I'm currently dealing with somewhat of the same situation on a 2017 spark 90hp. Ski wouldn't turn over and the screen just keeps displaying "reading key" even long after removing the key. I had to disconnect the display screen connector for the screen to turn off. The learner key didn't work either. I'm replacing the battery in hope that, that's all it is. If you have found a solution since u posted this please let me know what the outcome was.
