02 seadoo GTX 4 tec - I have been having a problem where it dies random when riding, (Idle or full throttle). When it dies you have to pull the seat and press the electrical connection back in the socket on the electronic module. It is the connection right below the fuse bank on the module, with all of the wires coming out of it. It doesn't come completely out of the socket, but just enough to kill the engine. Once you press it back it you hear the click of the ignition and you back in business. I did put a long zip tie around the module to help keep the plug from coming out, this helps a little bit as a temporary fix. Anyone have a better idea besides replacing stuff? I already pulled the plug, cleaned it up and put it back on tight as I could. These parts are getting old and the plastic is getting brittle if you mess with it too much. Anyone else have this problem?

Any ideas?

I had to replace the wire harness on my 04 GTX due to the tabs breaking on the connector to the MPEM. I had starting issues with the MPEM not recognizing the key on the DESS post. The previous owner had done the ziptie thing and had used it for years, so you may be ok.
