I have recently acquired a 1997 GSI which had the safety switch missing and someone had attempted to by-pass it. Now that I have replaced that switch the lanyard key "little black plug" won't fit it. I'm thinking I either have the wrong lanyard or my Jet Ski didn't come equipped with DESS(?) and I have the wrong safety switch. How would I identify either of these possibilities?
