Hey guys
I bought a 2007 utopia and the depth finder does not work. I know it is covered under warranty, but the dealer said to check the connection from the transducer to the back of the depth finder. What is the best way to get at it? I took the front seat off but you can't even see it never mind trying to check a connection. Thanks

There must be a way to get to the wiring behind he guage. I don't have my manual handy so I cant look it up at this time... I believe that the guage plugs in behind the mounting place.

I have a 2008 utopia and have the same problem. Worked for a day. Reads 0 all the time. I find that my dealer really has no clue. How do you check that wiring?

thanks

Have similar problem, hummingbird depth gauge that only gives depth is about 4 feet off of what my full size fish finder says. Measured in 6 feet of water and fishfinder correct. Spoke to Hummingbird about it and they said it was due to the placement of the two gauge sensors (fishfinder outside hull, depth gauge in hull). Never really got straight answer but was hoping someone knew how to get to the gauges? Cannot find where the whole assembly comes off to get into the back side of the speedometer and such...
