Was at the dealer today trying to sort out the correct depth finder part# for my 2012 RXP 260 as well as 2016 RXTX300 with no luck. They had two in stock. The 1st one was the Kit P/N 295 100 421 which I purchased but they said it was for RXT 300 and I am pretty sure thats not correct. When I go to the web site I see kit# 295100598 listed for the 2016 RXT without suspension and no part# listed for 2012 RXP. Hope the kit ending in part# 421 will work on RXP 260. Anyone put the depth finder on their RXT 300 and if yes whats the correct part# for it. Also if you know the correct part# for the 2012 RXP260?

Well, spent couple hours and mounted the depth finder to hull of 2012 xp260 , routed the wires to the fuse box and now when I press start briefly no engine start. If I hold the start key down the display comes on and does its thing but engine will not turn. I disconnected the harness from the depth finder but engine will not fire up. Is it possible the dealer needs to flash the ECU or I screwed up something?

Can't say for the 2012 but when I installled the depth finder in my 2016 GTX all I had to do is boot the system up and the depth finder was found. My thinking is either you blew a fuse or maybe forgot to reconnect something when you put the fuse block back in. IMO, even if the system needs to be updated by a dealer to recognize the depth finder, the machine should still start like normal it just won't show the depth gauge in the cluster.

pwgxs/bikerdib, you were both right. Blew up the 3mp fuse for the display. The wiring was done correctly but I messed up when I put back the bus bars and shorted GND and PWR. Ouch. It started right up after the fuse change. All that needs to be done is to tied down the harness wire. Kit P/N 295 100 421 works on 2012 RXP and looking at the RXt300 it uses the same kit except the harness will be the shorter version which is included in the 421 kit. The depth finder sits right below the battery on RXT. Much more wok space available with the RXT300 compared to the 260 RXP. Will work on the RXT as soon as the part arrives.

I spoke too soon. I can't see depth in the display. I press mode, select display and don't see depth or ---. Have checked the wiring like 15 times. Took out the depth finder and made sure the gel has no bubble. Checked the fuse for depth finder and nothing displays. I even launched the ski in the water and don't see any sign of depth finder. Engineer by trade and this one is puzzling me. Possible defective unit? What am I doing wrong?
