Engine Not turning over quickly, or at all sometime. Video included

went to start the engine and with the help of a charger/starter box I was able to get one engine to turn over fine. The starboard side makes a noise and then doesn't want to turn over some time.

I can spin it by hand and it does take some force. Let me know what you guys think. Possibly a starter gone bad or have any of y'all heard this noise before and know it is something else. The grinding noise is what happens every time I hit the start button. I do not have crazy long arms and am able to hit the start button and hold the camera up, I'm using a broom handle to hit the starter. Thanks for your time.

Try jumping across the main terminals of the solenoid with a big pair of pliers. If it still makes that noise, it the starter... but I think that noise is being induced from the solenoid.

sorry for the lack of traffic on this topic. I started a thread of the same topic in the premium section as well and that has all the traffic. Long story short. It was a dead battery. I slow charged it and put it back on and it works like a charm. Lesson of the day - dont boost your battery.
