Deal on 98 GTX RFI

There is a 98 GTX RFI for sale about an hour and a half away from me I was looking to upgrade from my 96 GTS and be able to stay with my dad on our GTX SC. The guy wants 2500 for it and the trailer. It has a new battery and a cool seat cover. Are there any known problems with the RFI like with the DI? What does RFI stand for Rotax Fuel Injection? is it an OK deal for the year? What do you think I can get for my GTS it is in great condition with no trailer and very low hours?
