Dead battery in `99 gtx

The battery goes dead after a couple day`s! It`s a new battery! I noticed that when I disconnect the positive that there`s a small spark, with nothing turned on??? Is there supposed to be a small draw even when turned off?
Also my info gauge went blank, don`t know if that has to do with any thing!

The MPEM will always have a drain on the battery but it is very small.

Maybe you are not charging. Get a meter and read the volts across the terminals both at idle and with the engine rev-ed up a bit.

If you have a VTS unplug it as when the module fails it can cause havoc everywhere, see if the spark lessons or goes away.
Do you have a bilge pump? If so, many are hard wired and can cause a drain if the float is stuck on or the switch is on but the motor is junk...

Okay i`ll check it thanks! No VTS, or Bilge pump. I guess i`ll pull terminal when I let it sit!!

Do you leave the lanyard attached when you are not riding it?

That would also complete a circuit..
