damn starter switch!!!

:ack: not sure if I'm allowed to ask this here......

I have 2 Seadoo SPs, both run great, but the darn little push botton starter switch broke (the thread snapped off so it would remount, but it still started the ski) so I got on fleabay and found another...darn $30 for that switch because I couldn't find just the housing.......so I installed and all was well...this past weekend the same EXACT thing happened on the other ski....is this common..do these snap all the time? Question: does anyone know where I can find these used, or cheap? I only need the housing.......

Ebay is the place i would say but you have already done that another place is to check the yellow pages for boat grave yards around your area.

If you have a West Marine store local, they sell just the cover if that's what your looking for. I know they do here in Florida.
