Cylinder gasket?

Hello, I have a 2000 Sea-Doo GS 717 engine.
I replacing a cylinder jug. I’ve looked at the cylinder gaskets and there are 6 or so to choose from for the thickness.
What thickness should I buy for the gasket?
It is all stock.
I bought a used jug and new rings.

Did the old gasket have any holes in it? They sometimes have holes in the gasket, 5 holes is a .5mm gasket, 4 holes .4mm. Put in the same thickness that came out

I didn’t know that. I will take it apart now. I wanted to order one and have all the parts here so I could do it in one day.

So the long version is you measure the squish with solder and no gasket. You then determine what you need to get the clearance into spec and order the correct thickness gasket. That will give you maximum performance.

Or you just buy the standard thickness from WSM/SBT etc and roll with it.
