Ok. Here are a few issues that I just need some insight on where to start trouble shooting.

1. Port engine Tach is bouncing all over the place, from 1k to 8k or just stopping at a random interval. I can't hear any revving in the engine, so i'm assuming it's either wiring, sensor or the tach itself.

2. Starboard engine vibrates like hell compared to the port. both will be idling and the starboard looks like it's going to come off the mounts. Compression test in that engine yielded 140-150.

3. Port engine just died for no reason a few times when dropping from 5-6k to idle when entering a no wake zone. I'm assuming dirty carb or some other fuel delivery issue. Plugs look clean.

Any ideas where to start troubleshooting would be great. thanks guys!

Well, got the Tach figured out, just attached the port engine to the starboard tach and i got accurate readings, I supose it the tach that has died :(

Took the rave valves out because I was bored and found a port engine rave bellow was half off! the rest of the raves were pretty nasty, I would guess from what i've seen around the web, is about 50-100hrs since last cleaning.

Rave's are easy to take off, I don't have replacement gaskets yet so they aren't back on.

They were nasty though, I don't they had been looked at in some time.
