I have an xp limited from 98 who lack a lot of parts
I'm missing MPEM box and the rest of the grid and try and find an inexpensive one.
difference between them is there are some extra features in it from 99 but need only ignition and VTS and its load, etc..
When I look in the manuals for 98 and 99 seadoo then it says that the ignition for the 947 engine to be (3.60 mm .142 in) on a 98 model but on a 99 model says that it should be (2.99 mm .118 in)
Maybe they have turned the ignition a little later to avoid burning a hole in the piston of the engine in the newer model.
as far as I know the engine is completely identical
