Just bought 2 used Seadoos (91 & 94 XP's). Neither has the tool kit; haven't found a source for replacements. What tools were in the original kits? Is it worth the effort to try to find one? What tools/accessories do you normally carry onboard the pwc (other than fire extinguisher, tow rope)? Thanks.

The original tool kits were cheap chinese crap tools, just enough to snap and bust your knuckles further frustrating you at lake haha.

They came with a little yellow handled flat blade screwdriver, basic small pliers, and a metal rod and 13/16 tube type socket to remove the spark plugs.

May be one more item in there cant remember.

They get very rusty over the years.

I keep gloves, new gapped NGK plugs, gas, oil, pliers, screw drivers, dikes/wire cutters, connectors, wire, TIE WRAPS! small jumper cables in case I ever needed or buddies ski needed, metric socket set, 13/16 wrench, couple other items in my tow vehicle, I don't like to be down for a day at the lake when im already there and the event something needed repairs.

Onboard, I'd carry spark plug wrench and fresh plugs, the rest of the kit is as 1983 says, would not worry too much about not having it.

A tow rope and something to bail with :)

Thanks for the helpful suggestions. I do carry a tool box in the car, but wanted to get a sense of what I should carry on board. I guess it also depends upon how remote my rides will be. Until I have full confidence in machines' operation, I expect to stay fairly close to the launch sites.
