What are the min and max compression pressures for a 1996 Rotax 787cc, 110hp engine from a Challenger Jet Boat?

150 is spec... 135 psi is acceptable. (but getting time for a rebuild) Anything less than 135 psi may run, but you will have tuning issues. (hard start, fouling plugs, etc)

Thanks for the info. I see you have a 96 Speedster. I am looking at a 96 Challenger (14.5 ft.) With a Rotax 787 motor. What do you think about this boats power compared to yours? Assuming you have twin 85's. I am looking to pull an adult skier while carrying 2 adults on board.

Nope... mine's a Sportster. I have a single 720 engine. (85hp) It pulls a tube, or wake board without too many problems. I can't say that I've tried to pull a ski yet.

With that said... it's a small boat, and when a wake border cuts... he will pull the boat. Also.. the wake is small, and it's hard to hold steady speed.

If you are looking to go out, have fun, and get wet... a Challenger in good running order will be a fun boat. If you are looking to practice for competition... you will need a real ski/wake boat.

BUT... since the 14.5' SeaDoo boat's are just big jetskis... they are fun to drive around on their own.
