compression question on a 98 GTX Limited!!

I did a compression test on my friends GTX Limited last night and it is only showing about 122 per cyl. Mine is still at 155 per cyl on the 800 motor. I think he only has like 120 hours on it..What is the 951 silver supposed to be.

Typically your engine should have 150 psi in top form. 122psi isn't bad at all.

those are the #'s for the 580/650 and 720 motors. The 951 reading, is what "wired for money" posted, and for the 800cc, 160psi is perfect.

So I just did new pistons and rings and its 155...is that good? So he should not worry about doing rings and pistons at 122 ? Thanks guys for the help !!
